Paulette Bleam

Paulette is a United States double gold medalist in figure skating, a professional ice dancer and competitive salsa dancer. She traveled the country, covering live national and international figure skating events with ABC chiefessays.net Sports and ESPN, and spent two years as a broadcast news writer for the FOX affiliate in Oakland, CA. Paulette holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and is currently a news producer for KRON-TV in San Francisco, CA.

Linda Cannava

Production

Linda is a professional ballroom dancer, teacher and competitor. She has a background in jazz, ballet and theatre. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a senior contract manager and negotiator for Charles Schwab Corporation in San Francisco, CA.

Mark Curtis

Talent

Mark Curtis is a 30-year professional in radio and television. He covered the 2008 Presidential campaign, traveling the country with all of the candidates as a freelance political analyst. He recently released his book, “Age of Obama: A Reporter’s Journey with Clinton, McCain and Obama in the Making of the President 2008.” He spent 15 years as a morning anchor with KTVU Channel 2 in Oakland, CA. He currently runs www.MarkCurtisMedia.com, a freelance reporting and political analysis agency. Mark received a master’s degree from the University of Florida, a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication from Marquette University, and is currently working on his doctorate in educational leadership at St. Mary’s College of California.

Gregory Harrison

CEO / Technical Production

Gregory is the Chief Executive Officer of Artidia & Dance Media Productions. He has worked in both the broadcast industry and dance industry for more than 30 years.

Gregory is best known for his dedication to hustle dance, having been a competitor, coach and choreographer since 1974. He has also coached and performed in several other forms of dance, including salsa and west coast swing. Prior to his coaching career in dance, he spent 10 years as a martial artist and instructor.

Gregory retired in August 2008 from KTVU/FOX-TV in Oakland, CA where he worked as an engineer since 1972. Gregory has worked as a technical director, editor, camera operator, sound engineer, lighting and master control supervisor for KTVU/FOX-TV, KPIX/CBS, KRXI/FOX-TV, KAME/MY-TV, LATV and has worked with many of the top performers in the entertainment industry.

Randall Harrison

Graphics/Production

Randall is the principle and owner of Silver Tree Design. He has been delivering custom designs to major corporations for more than 25 years. He was a graphic designer and art director at Hewlett-Packard Television for 19 years. Randall has supported his clients and projects with a wide variety of design disciplines including creative logos, speaker support graphics, brochures and interactive media as well as being a production crew member, operating cameras, character generators and graphics programs. Randall is also a 5th degree black belt in Karate and a competitive fencer.

Ken Jones

Technical Production

Ken has been working behind the scenes in media production for several years and is best known for his quality video and audio production. He worked as a photographer for broadcast television stations KFCB, KCSM, and KTVU in the San Francisco Bay Area. His camera work has been seen on “Brian Boitano and Friends,” the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade, and the 49er’s “Point After” show. Ken was a video editor at KCSM and edited the PBS show, “The Computer Chronicles” and the PBS feature length documentary, “The Coming Ice Age.” In the late 1980s Ken was the videographer and editor for Central Bank’s internal corporate magazine show. He has also directed the how do you start a conclusion technical departments in various Northern California churches. Ken currently works at UCSF Children’s Hospital as a technology specialist for the Child Life Department.

Jorge Rojas

Information Technology/Production

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Jorge now lives in Berkeley, CA and works as a consultant in IT Project Management for Kaiser Permanente. In his role, he coordinates and supports a team providing information technology projects. He is also no stranger to dance, having spent 10 years as a professional ballet dancer with various ballet companies. He is also a competitive salsa dancer.

Felipe Martinez

Marketing/Production

Felipe is originally from Columbia but has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1997. He was recruited to the United States to play soccer for the San Jose Earthquakes, but was forced to retire after a knee injury. He danced as a competitive salsa dancer with two Bay Area dance teams. He is best known in the salsa community as “DJ EldelaClave,” playing music at salsa clubs and congresses around the nation. He is the CEO of Underground Mambo, at www.undergroundmambo.com. Felipe holds a bachelor’s degree in digital recording and sound from City College of San Francisco.

Laura Serghiou

Marketing/Production

Laura is originally from the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean, but has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1992. She has studied ballet, modern and jazz dance for the past 17 years, and currently performs with an Afro Cuban modern dance company and is a competitive salsa dancer. She holds two master’s degrees: a master of arts in dance education from Stanford University, and a master of science in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also holds a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering from Cornell University. Laura currently works as a product marketing engineer with Credence Systems in San Francisco.

Vibol Peou

Graphics / Production

Vibol is a Multimedia Artist who has been involved in various aspects of new media designs and design technologies, from creative interactive designs, print, photography, video production, and web development; he comes to us with experience from KTVU/FOX, CBS Interactive and CNET. At KTVU FOX he was assistant producer for Ross McGowan on Mornings on 2 and is now currently a Web Designer for CNET.com of CBS Interactive. Vibol has a Bachelor of Art degree with an emphasis in Multimedia and Graphic Design from the California State University East Bay. Vibol is creative, motive, and passionate to involve himself in all aspects of visual communication.
